still blooming!

It's been awhile since I've posted! I've had a busy few months of painting (of course!), student teaching, turning 23! and my lovely boyfriend returning home now for good (who could ask for a better birthday surprise than that?!) Needless to say, these first few weeks of being 23 have certainly been wonderful so far!

For my birthday, my sweet mom got me a new easel which makes painting that much more fun and providing me with better work space. How exciting! Here's a picture of the first of many paintings in the making using my easel!

I enjoyed playing around with words, vibrant colors, painting with different pallet knifes as well as my usual drips and splatters to create some pretty neat texture.

Here's a "hope" painting similar to the "joy" painting that is for sale.  Multiple people have been curious whether or not I am selling my paintings and the answer is yes! Several of my paintings are for sale.  The paintings that are for sale will be posted on this blog, facebook, or possibly instagram. There are plenty of ways to get in touch with me about my paintings for sure. "Hope" is on a handmade canvas (10.5 inches by 7.5 inches) with one inch painted sides and is $60.

"Hope" you've enjoyed this post ha ha :) Have a lovely evening!
